Israelsson Receives NASA Award at JPL Ceremony

Dr. Ulf Israelsson has been awarded the NASA Exceptional Service Medal. The award was presented to him on May 16 at the annual NASA Honor Awards Ceremony for JPL. The citation for his award reads: "For advancing the state of Fundamental Physics in Microgravity and leading its evolution to an independent discipline involving laser cooling, atomic physics, gravitation, and relativistic physics."
