Ketterle Group Members Present More Invited Talks
The MIT group report several additional invited presentations at meetings this summer.
Todd Gustavson presented "Recent experiments with Bose-Einstein
condensates: Amplification of light and matter waves, superfluidity, and RF transitions
in an optical trap"; at the 6th Workshop on Atom Optics and Interferometry
in Cargese, Corse (France). Plus, at the Summer School on Bose-Einstein condensates and
atom lasers, also at Cargese, PI Wolfgang Ketterle presented three lectures titled
"Experiments on Bose-Einstein condensation." Lastly, at the Gordon Research
Conference on Molecular Electronic Spectroscopy and Dynamics, Ketterle
presented a talk titled "Optical Properties of a Bose-Einstein Condensate
and Phase-Coherent Matter Wave Amplification."
