Article in Nature Leads to Press Release for JPL Team of Researchers

The research group headed by Dave Pearson of JPL published an article in the May 17 issue of Nature Magazine describing the observation of Josephson flow phenomena in liquid helium-4. The paper was written by Pearson, Talso Chui, and Kalyani Sukhatme of JPL and collaborator Dr. Yury Mukharsky of CEA-DRECAM (Commissariat a l' Energie Atomique, Departement de Recherche sur l 'Etat Condensé, les Atomes et les Molécules) from Saclay, France. The JPL Public Affairs Office then worked with Pearson to prepare a news release that is on the web site at http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/releases/2001/helium_tricks.html.
