Design Net produces First Electronics Prototype for the LTMPEF Project

One month after the LTMPE Project PDR, the "team of 10 at Design Net," as they were called at the review, have detailed the design of the Germanium Resistance Thermometer (GRT) circuit board. The first prototype board is now built, populated with components, and in test. The picture below is a segment view of the GRT board showing 2 GRT channels side by side, the area is about 2.5" square. Note that the parts density is pretty high. The wires in the center of the picture support two thermistors (the black blobs) that are used to monitor the board's temperature.
