Berkeley Group Describe New NMR System
In August, Richard Packard and his students reported at the low temperature conference LT-23
in Hiroshima on the development of an NMR system that employs almost exclusively computer-generated
excitation signals and analysis. Although developed for use in low temperature thermometry, the
system is a completely general-purpose NMR system that can be used in chemistry, biology and
medicine. The report will be published in the proceedings of LT-23.
