Flight Project Teams Undergo Peer Reviews

The DYNMAX Science Team at the University of New Mexico and the Dewar and Enclosure Team at Ball Aerospace and Technology Corporation (BATC) in Boulder both faced peer review panels in early October. The reviews were chartered to appraise the readiness of the teams for a Critical Design Review that will occur in early 2003. Each review panel praised the development teams for the evidence of considerable progress that has been accomplished since the Preliminary Design Reviews. The panels generated a number of recommendations for action to improve the teams' preparedness for the CDR.
