Invited Talk Presented to Thermophysical Measurements Conference

The MISTE PI, Martin Barmatz of JPL, gave an invited talk titled "Thermodynamic Property Measurements Near the 3He Liquid-Gas Critical Point" at the recent Fifteenth Symposium on Thermophysical Properties Conference in Boulder, Colorado. The talk covered the use of ground-based measurements of the isothermal compressibility, the heat capacity at constant volume, and the coexistence curve shape to test the predictions of several theoretical models in the asymptotic, crossover and gravity-affected regions near the critical point.
